Leadership is a fundamental skill for participants in health professions education as it prepares them to navigate complex healthcare environments, inspire teams, and drive innovation in patient care and education. This module aims to develop leadership competencies among participants by exploring theories of leadership, communication strategies, and practical skills required for effective leadership in healthcare settings. Through interactive sessions, case studies, and experiential learning activities, participants will enhance their leadership capabilities and prepare for leadership roles in their respective fields.
This certificate is also linking leadership to the multifaceted students’ support in health professions education, including academic challenges, professional development, and personal well-being. Recognizing that some students may encounter difficulties during their training needs leadership roles. This program provides targeted support and remediation strategies to promote student success and ensure competence in their chosen health professions.
